These terms cover your use of petersonauto.com and the text messages Peterson Auto Sales sends you. Peterson Auto Sales is a used car dealership in Midvale, Utah. By using the site or texting us, you agree to them. Questions are welcome: call us at (801) 561-2727 or email info@petersonauto.com.

SMS Terms

Peterson Auto Sales answers customers' questions by text message. Text messaging for Peterson Auto Sales is provided by Hexmonster LLC. Here's how it works.

• Signing up. Text us your question. We'll reply once to ask whether you'd like to hear back by text. Reply Y (or YES) to confirm, and someone from our sales team will text you back. Until you reply Y, we won't text you again.
• What we send. Replies about the question you asked us, such as a car's availability, pricing, financing, test drives, trade-ins and your purchase. We don't send marketing texts.
• How often. Message frequency varies with the conversation.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
• Stopping. Reply STOP at any time, or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed, and then no more. Reply START to sign up again.
• Help. Reply HELP, call (801) 561-2727, or email info@petersonauto.com.
• Never required. You don't have to agree to texts to buy a car from us.
• Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your number. Text us only from a number that's yours or that you're allowed to use. If you give up the number, reply STOP first.
• Privacy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your number and messages.

Vehicle listings and prices

We work to keep our listings accurate, but a car can sell, or a detail can be wrong, before the site catches up. Please call to confirm a car is available before you visit.

Advertised prices include all our dealer fees, including our $289 documentation fee. Utah sales tax, title and registration are added when you buy. The terms of a sale are the ones in the paperwork you sign at the dealership.

The website chat

The AI assistant in our website chat is not a person, and it can make mistakes. Its answers are general information, not an offer or a promise, so please check anything important with our team.

Using this site

Please don't misuse the site: don't try to break or overload it, send spam through its forms or chat, or scrape its listings.

Other websites

We link to sites we don't run, such as Carfax vehicle history reports and Google Maps. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
